The Ehsaan Qureshi Night organised by IMA Utsav 2013 held at Medical College’s auditorium in Raipur

Laughter Night: Lovers of comedy gathered at Medical College’s auditorium to enjoy a night full of laughter and masti at the do titled The Ehsaan Qureshi Night, a part of IMA Utsav 2013. Comedian Ehsaan Qureshi had everyone in splits with his stand-up comedy act and tickled the funny bone of everyone seated in the audience. “Doctors ke paas koi bhi, haste hue nahi jata hai, zyadatar log rote hue aate hai, aur doctors unhe shant kar ke bhejte hai.So I am here to entertain the docs jo rote hue logo ko shant karte hain,” said Ehsaan to the audience, which mostly comprised docs.
Show respect towards women: Ehsaan, known for his impeccable comic timing also expressed his concern over the safety of women in the country. “We need to respect the women in our society. People should understand that women need to be treated with equality and dignity. The Delhi gang-rape was an unfortunate incident and such brutal acts should not be repeated again,” he said
Doctors too need a break: “This profession requires dedication and is quite hectic. We too need a break and events like this do make us smile and forget our hardships,” said IMA president Ajay Sahai. “It was an eventful night. I had lots of fun and will always remember this day,” said Anil Verma, a doctor. It was a night of fun and frolic as the audience cheered to the performance by Minad Kumar, who danced to the tunes of Oppa Gangnam Style. While Nagesh Kumar, a look-alike of the late Rajesh Khanna upped the entertainment quotient by his mimicry act.
